Cookie Cutter Shipping Policy

Domestic Shipping (US Only)

All cookie cutters are processed within 5–7 business days, and shipping transit time is in addition to this processing period. USPS does not guarantee delivery times or arrival dates. Kate Bakes is not responsible for delays, lost packages, or stolen packages.

International Shipping

Please note that buyers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, or import taxes required by their country. These fees are not included in the item price or shipping cost and may be collected by your local postal service before delivery.

I cannot control or predict tariff changes, customs delays, or additional fees imposed by your country. If you are concerned about potential costs, please check with your local customs office before purchasing.

International Shipping FAQ

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! I am happy to ship cookie cutters worldwide using USPS. Shipping times vary by destination:

  • Canada: 1–3 weeks

  • UK and Europe: 2–4 weeks

  • Australia and New Zealand: 2–4 weeks

  • Other destinations: shipping times may vary

Will I have to pay extra fees (customs, VAT, or import taxes)?
Possibly, depending on your country. Some countries charge additional taxes, often called VAT or duties, when your package arrives. These fees are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the buyer.

Think of it like sales tax, but collected by your local postal service before delivery. Each country has its own rules. Fees can range from a few dollars to a percentage of your order total.

Can you mark my order as a “gift” to avoid customs?
No. I am required to declare all items accurately on customs forms. Cookie cutters are marked as “Kitchen Tools” with their correct value to help ensure smooth customs clearance.

What happens if I don’t pay the customs fee?
If a customs duty or VAT is due and is not paid, your local postal service may hold or return the package. Unfortunately, I cannot control this, so please check your country’s import rules before purchasing.

What if my package is delayed at customs?
Most international orders arrive within the estimated timeframe, but customs processing can occasionally add extra days. Thank you for your patience. Once a package leaves the United States, your country’s postal service is responsible for final delivery.

PLEASE NOTE: I do not ship any baked goods at this time!
