Cookie Display Stand STL File

Give your cookies a little extra support! This printable cookie stand is designed to help freestanding cookies stand upright on their own, making it perfect for 3D cookie displays, cookie sets, photo props, and detailed cookie creations.

I originally designed this stand for my own cookie builds and have since had other cookie artists ask for one of their own. It is designed to be attached to the back of a cookie to create a simple, sturdy base that allows the cookie to stand upright.

Choose Your Size

Small: Best suited for approximately 2–3" cookies

Medium: Best suited for approximately 3.5–4.5" cookies

Large: Best suited for approximately 5"+ cookies

These size recommendations are a general guide. The ideal stand size can vary depending on the cookie's shape, weight, thickness, and center of gravity.

A Note About Stability

Because every cookie shape is different, I cannot guarantee that a particular size will work for every cookie within the recommended dimensions.

Cookies that are especially tall, top-heavy, narrow at the base, or have an uneven weight distribution may require a larger stand or additional support to remain stable. A wider or heavier cookie may also need a larger footprint than another cookie of the same height.

Please consider the overall shape and weight of your cookie, rather than height alone, when selecting your size.

For best results, test the stand with your specific cookie before using it for a finished display or transporting your cookie.

Printing & Material

Food-contact-rated PLA is recommended if the printed stand will come into contact with a cookie.

Please note that not all PLA filament is manufactured or certified for food contact. Even when a filament is marketed as "food safe," the finished printed object may not necessarily be suitable for direct food contact. Food-contact suitability can depend on the specific filament, pigments and additives, printer components, nozzle material, print settings, surface condition, and cleaning practices.

For the most cautious approach, use a filament specifically intended and certified by its manufacturer for food-contact applications and follow the manufacturer's recommendations for printing and use.

This stand is designed to attach to the back of the cookie and is not intended to be eaten. If the stand will have direct contact with food, you are responsible for selecting an appropriate printing material and determining whether your complete printed object is suitable for your intended use.

Printing & Assembly

The stand can be printed using a standard 3D printer. Print settings may vary depending on your printer and filament.

The stand should be securely attached to the back of the cookie using an adhesive (i.e., royal icing, isomalt, etc.) appropriate for your intended display.

Because printing materials, printer settings, cookie dimensions, and adhesives can vary, you are responsible for determining the appropriate printing and assembly method for your particular project.

Always test your finished stand and cookie combination before using it for display, photography, transportation, or sale.
